Centauri Health Solutions Continues Growth Trajectory by Adding Integrated Health Management Services as a Subsidiary

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. (January 31, 2019) Centauri Health Solutions, Inc. (“Centauri”), an innovative healthcare technology and services company, announced today that Integrated Health Management Services (“IHMS”), a Phoenix-based provider of revenue-cycle management services for hospitals and health systems, has become a subsidiary, expanding the breadth and depth of its revenue cycle solutions market share.

IHMS was founded in 1996 and provides revenue cycle management services from patient screening and Medicaid enrollment to billing and claim payment reconciliation. Over the past two decades, IHMS has helped more than one million individuals secure health coverage, while recovering $1 billion in payments for hospitals and health systems.

“This union reinforces Centauri’s role as a revenue cycle management industry leader through the scale, client base and reach the IHMS partnership adds. It expands our national footprint in Medicaid eligibility and enrollment, growing our coast-to-coast track record of successful results, our network of loyal clients and the unparalleled combination of services we provide,” said Adam Miller, co-founder and CEO of Centauri.

The newly combined organization will be headed by Miller. The deal comes just weeks after Abry Partners (“Abry”), one of the most successful sector-focused private equity investment firms in North America, became the lead investor for Centauri.

The addition of the IHMS organization and its Phoenix and Tucson offices brings the total number of Centauri associates to nearly 1,300 in nine U.S. locations.

Through its payer services product suites, Centauri will continue to provide technology-enabled services to the nation’s largest Medicare and Medicaid health plans.

The IHMS transaction was also supported by Centauri’s other key investors, Silversmith Capital Partners and SV Health Investors.
